How much does aerial drone photography cost?
We price each shoot with a tailored quote. It takes into account the location and the paperwork the area requires, the number of viewpoints, the number of retouched photos, the number of flights (a one-off or at each stage of a construction project) and travel.
Do you need a permit for drone photography in Lyon?
Yes, depending on the area. Since 1 January 2026, a registered professional operator in France can fly over public space in built-up areas. This requires a suitable drone and a prior declaration to the prefecture, filed at least 10 working days before the flight. Some missions also require authorisation from the civil aviation authority, and some areas remain prohibited, particularly near airports. We take care of this paperwork.
Can you photograph construction progress?
Yes. Flights are repeated at each key stage or at regular intervals, according to your works schedule. We agree this frequency together.
How long does delivery take, and in what formats?
It all depends on the number of images and the retouching required: the delivery date is stated in the quote. You receive files suited to each use, on screen and in print.
What happens if the weather doesn’t allow flying?
Strong wind, rain or fog prevent a safe flight and sharp photos. We monitor the forecast ahead of the planned day and, if conditions aren’t right, we agree another date together.
Aerial photography or drone video: which should I choose?
Photos serve your static media: website, brochure, file, signboard. Drone video shows a place in motion and fits into a film. Both can be done during the same flight.
